This year, GABS Friday night sessions added new meaning to Friday drinks.
The GABS International Brewers Collective (IBC) is an exclusive night where global brewing royalty converges to share experiences and insights with the brightest minds in the craft beer industry. Established as an annual industry gala dinner, IBC has become a beacon for brewing excellence, inviting renowned figures from across the globe to inspire Australia’s craft brewing network.
Whether you are a business leader, inspiring entrepreneur, brand builder in any sector or a brewer, industry supplier, beer retailer, hospitality provider, or craft beer enthusiast, if you are looking to expand your network this is the event for you.
Every year, a small army of passionate beer and events fans volunteer and donate their time to help keep GABS running smoothly, and we greatly appreciate their contribution to the fabric of the event. If you’re interested, we’d love you to volunteer for the GABS events. Not only do you get to meet and work with like-minded beer fans, there are some great perks too. Prepare to be overwhelmed by a wide selection of delicious, quirky, festival-exclusive beers.
Started in 2021, GABS Cares has been created by the GABS Craft Beer Festival team to support and give back to various beer industry initiatives and good community charitable causes within Australia
Since GABS began, we’ve had a little tradition in place, where we invite one of the most influential brewers, cidermakers, or just all-round awesome people to ‘ring the bell’ to open and close every GABS session. While it may sound like a simple thing, it’s become a true ‘badge of honour’ for all GABS Bellringers.
Take a trip down GABS Memory Lane with a look through our Official Guides from every event! Featuring the tasting notes for more than 1,000 Festival Beers & Ciders launched for the first time at the festivals, plus much more!
